Our name Amethi, in Cornish means "farm" which emphasises our love and roots within the Cornish countryside.
At Amethi, we provide a dedicated 24/7, 365 day a year service for farmers, smallholders and farm pet owners and at competitive local prices. We are an independently owned Farm Veterinary Practice based in Helston, Cornwall.
At Amethi, we have a passion for providing high quality care to all farm animals from cows to alpaca's and everything in between. We believe that working within the farming industry is not just a job, it's a way of life. A lifestyle those that work at Amethi love and want to continue to serve and support within the community.
Currently, the veterinary world is losing more and more independent practices to the detriment of local farmers and businesses. Independent practices can provide a unique and bespoke service to each of its clients and more importantly can be adapted to suit the needs of individuals. We at Amethi feel the need to restore that community based and personalised approach back to our local veterinary services.
The Team aim to work with our clients to meet the needs of individual holdings whilst prioritising overall the welfare and health of animals. Continuity of Veterinary care is paramount and our dedicated team are passionate, extremely determined to make this happen and cannot wait to start when we fully open in October 2023.
